Work in Progress Liberator by slycherrychunks Work in Progress Liberator by slycherrychunks
The hero ship from british sci-fi show "Blakes 7". Been working on this for the last month. It's mainly styrene sheets and tubing.

I found a nice 5 minute casting resin that makes duplicating parts much quicker (the 3 gun pods are mainly resin) This means that once this is completed, I'll quickly be able to build another one - and maybe melt it like in the episode 'Terminal'.

I got the basic shape right but there are a lot of details on the largest studio model I couldnt replicate at this scale. That doesnt matter as their are a bunch of discrepancies between the different scale studio models anyway.
The biggest difference here are the huge chunky ariels but I wanted them to stand out. I also wanted to avoid using needles or tiny wires that would get bent.

There are a lot of extra details I added like paneling on most of the curved surfaces and and raised lines on the engine ball - mainly for the various washes to pick up when I finally get round to painting this.
